Today we went for an acclimatization hike to the Everest View hotel, and had excellent views of Lhotse & Ama Dablam. Everest had just gone behind the clouds...but the hike & views of the other peaks were very worthwhile. We are resting here in Namche today & tonight, then plan to hike up the Khumbu valley tomorrow through Tengboche to visit the monastery, then on to the small village of Debuche. Currently we are enjoying the restful environment of Namche, complete with apple pie & fancy coffee!
